iPhone customers warned of major change – and fans are blaming Elon Musk

iPhone owners in the UK may face difficulty reaching out to Apple for customer support. According to MacRumors, Apple will no longer provide customer support via X (formerly Twitter).

What's the change?

Instead of using X to contact Apple Support, customers will now have to visit the general support page on Apple's website. When customers send a message on X, they receive an automated response directing them to continue the conversation on another support channel, along with a link to Apple's support pages.

Who's to blame?

While iPhone users may be frustrated with this change, the blame is being directed towards eccentric billionaire Elon Musk, who owns X. Musk purchased X for $44 billion in October last year, and since then, has implemented several controversial changes to the platform. One of the most notable changes was replacing the famous blue bird logo with the letter X.

Is this the end of X?

Observers believe that Apple's retreat from X could be the beginning of the end for the platform. Some users on X expressed their thoughts, suggesting that more companies will follow suit and stop providing personalized support on a platform that they believe is in decline.
