Red Bull Drivers to Wear Elvis-Inspired Outfits at Las Vegas GP

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez Set for a New Look

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, the Red Bull drivers, are set to make a bold fashion statement at the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix. The drivers will don Elvis-inspired suits as they hit the track on Saturday evening. The suits, named the Viva Las Vegas Suit, come in two versions - one in red and one in white. Both feature star details on the trousers as a tribute to the iconic Hound Dog star.

A Tribute to the King

Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner expressed the team's excitement about paying tribute to the legendary Elvis Presley. Horner said, "Elvis left his mark on Vegas and the world, becoming synonymous with the glitz, the flash, and the energy of the strip, something we are hoping to replicate as we take to the track on Saturday night."

Merchandise Partnership

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise featuring vintage images of Elvis adorned in race-gear. The partnership between Oracle Red Bull Racing and Elvis Presley Enterprises will offer a range of items, including hoodies, T-shirts, fleeces, and totes. The merchandise will be available at the Elvis Presley Amazon Shop.

A Tribute to Elvis' Vegas Residency

In 1969, Elvis began a seven-year residency in Las Vegas at the International Hotel, which later became the Las Vegas Hilton. During his residency, he performed an astonishing 636 shows, often with two shows per night. The showroom stage where he performed still exists today.

Remembering the King

Elvis Presley's residency in Las Vegas came to an end in 1977 when he was found dead at his Graceland mansion in Memphis. Doctors attributed his death to a heart attack, potentially caused by his addiction to prescription barbiturates.
