The buyer of Haaland's plane is Eckhoff Johansen, a tycoon in the gun silencer industry. Johansen revealed that he paid significantly more than the original purchase price. The Piper M600, the updated version of the aircraft, is currently priced at £3 million for new buyers.

Haaland and his father held a 37.5% stake in the company that owned the six-seater plane. While they enjoyed their time with the aircraft, a source stated that both Haaland and his father are wealthy enough to charter private planes without the responsibilities of ownership.
