Kevin Sinfield to Run Seven Marathons in Seven Days for Motor Neurone Disease

Awareness and Fundraising Challenge

Kevin Sinfield, former rugby player, is taking on an incredible challenge to raise awareness and funds for motor neurone disease (MND). Known as 7 in 7 in 7, Sinfield will run seven marathons in seven cities in just seven days. The challenge aims to support individuals like Sinfield's friend Rob Burrow, who has been diagnosed with MND.

Symbolic Start in Leeds

Sinfield will kick off his marathon challenge on December 1 in Leeds, where he will run an extra mile to symbolize the efforts made by people to help those affected by MND. This grueling task not only aims to raise funds but also to shed light on the impact of this disease on individuals and their families.

Funds for a Cure and Support

All the funds raised through the 7 in 7 in 7 challenge will go towards finding a cure for MND and supporting families like Rob Burrow's. Sinfield has a personal connection to the cause and has previously raised an impressive £8 million for MND-related initiatives.

Benefitting Organizations

The funds raised will benefit organizations such as the MND Association and the Leeds Hospitals Charity's appeal to build the Rob Burrow Centre for MND in Leeds. These organizations play a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by MND.

Power of Friendship

More than just a physical challenge, the 7 in 7 in 7 marathon challenge brings to light the power of friendship and being there for one another. Sinfield and Burrow have co-authored a book called "With You Every Step," which showcases their bond and the importance of supporting each other through difficult times.

Support the Cause

If you would like to support Kevin Sinfield and the fight against MND, you can make a donation online or via text message. Every contribution makes a difference in the lives of those affected by this devastating disease.
