Just hours after news broke of their separation, Victoria, the wife of rugby star Danny Cipriani, has taken a swipe at him.

The couple, who were married for nearly three years, recently confirmed their split on social media.

A new chapter for both

In an Instagram post, Danny shared, "Victoria and I sat together this weekend and agreed to separate after 4 years of marriage. Whilst we've had some wonderful times together, we've also recognized we're on different journeys and whilst this is sad news, it's also a new chapter for us both to pursue our own happiness. I only wish the best for Victoria and her children."

A plea for privacy

However, Victoria didn't appreciate Danny sharing their relationship status on social media and responded with her own statement.

She wrote, "I'm not sure why Daniel needs to tell Instagram of his relationship status. I don't wish for the invasion. Could I ask for some privacy while navigating through this fragile time."
