Arsenal Declare Jakub Kiwior Untouchable as Italian Giants Show Interest

AC Milan and Roma Eye Loan Move for Polish Defender

Arsenal have reportedly deemed Jakub Kiwior "untouchable" amidst interest from two prominent Italian clubs. The 23-year-old Poland international joined the Gunners from Spezia in January for £21 million and has since made 16 appearances for Mikel Arteta's squad, scoring one goal. While Kiwior has started two Premier League games this season, he remains a fringe player due to Gabriel and William Saliba's established partnership in central defense.

AC Milan and Roma Make Approaches

Calcio Mercato journalist Daniele Longo has revealed that both AC Milan and Roma have expressed interest in loaning Kiwior. It is understood that the two clubs have proposed deals to Arsenal for the defender to join them in January. However, Arsenal has made it clear that Kiwior is not for sale.

Arsenal's Defensive Depth

Arsenal is currently dealing with a shortage of options in the center of defense. The long-term injury to new signing Jurrien Timber has left them without an obvious candidate for the position. While Ben White can fill in as a fourth-choice center-half, there is still a need for additional depth in the squad.

Arsenal's Current Standings

Arsenal currently sits third in the Premier League, just one point behind table-toppers Manchester City. In the Champions League, they are leading their group with three wins from four games.
