Sports fans are in for an action-packed festive season with British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua set to take on Otto Wallin in Saudi Arabia just over 24 hours before Christmas Day. Joshua is scheduled to feature on the same card as Deontay Wilder, who is rumored to be taking on Joseph Parker.

Exciting Boxing Match on Boxing Day: Naoya Inoue vs Marlon Tapales

Boxing fans can enjoy more thrilling matches as they tuck into their leftover turkey on Boxing Day. Japanese fighter Naoya Inoue will take on Marlon Tapales in what promises to be an exciting showdown.

Football Fixtures to Look Forward to

Football fans will have a plethora of big festive fixtures to sink their teeth into. Manchester United will face Liverpool on December 15, followed by Liverpool taking on Arsenal eight days later in Saturday's evening kick-off. Meanwhile, United will visit West Ham earlier in the afternoon. Additionally, there will be a Christmas Eve clash for the first time in nearly 30 years as Wolves host Chelsea. On Boxing Day, United and Liverpool will be in action again, with both games against Aston Villa and Burnley set to be televised, along with Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest.

World Darts Championships and NFL Action

If fans need a break from football, they can tune into the World Darts Championships, which kicks off on December 15. World number one Michael Smith will aim to defend his crown amidst tough competition from Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright. The tournament, held at Alexandra Palace, drew in 1.5 million viewers last year and will conclude on January 3. Additionally, there will be plenty of NFL action with ten games scheduled for Christmas Eve and four for Christmas Day, including a match between reigning Superbowl champions Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders.
