Virgin Media Gives Customers Free TV Upgrade with Extra Channels for October

Virgin Media is treating its millions of customers to a special surprise this month with the addition of seven bonus channels to their television lineup. And it couldn't have come at a better time - just in time for the October half term! Subscribers will have free access to a range of kids channels throughout the month, including popular networks such as Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, and Nicktoons.

Free Kids Channels to Keep the Little Ones Entertained

In an effort to provide families with entertainment during the school holidays, Virgin Media has made its suite of children's TV channels, known as the Kids TV Pick, available to subscribers at no extra cost. Normally priced at £5 per month, these channels offer a variety of shows that cater to children of all ages. From educational programs like "Pip and Posy Let's Learn" and "Monster High 2" to animated favorites like "PAW Patrol - Jungle Pups" and "Teen Titans Go!," there's something for every young viewer to enjoy. Plus, many shows are also available on-demand for added convenience.

Easy Access for Subscribers

There's no need for Virgin Media customers to take any action to receive the bonus channels. They will automatically appear on the television guide starting from channel number 704. The channels will remain available until 6am on October 31.

A Helping Hand from Virgin Media

David Bouchier, Chief TV & Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, stated, "With half-term just around the corner, and lots of households feeling the pinch, we're giving families a helping hand to stay entertained this October with a host of premium kids and teen TV channels available at no extra cost." This move is part of Virgin Media's ongoing commitment to deliver top-quality entertainment to its subscribers throughout the year.
