A popular feature among Sky Q users is the ability to record their favorite shows and movies. When it comes to watching recorded content, many people rely on the fast forward option to skip through advertisements. However, a tech expert has recently unveiled a genius trick that makes this process a whole lot quicker.

The Up and Right Button Combination

YouTuber and TikToker Wades Ramsey, known as Luke in real life, shared a simple hack that will save viewers plenty of time. Instead of using the fast forward button, all you need to do is press the up button and then the right button on your Sky Q remote control. This will automatically skip you ahead by one minute. By repeating this process two or three times, you can easily skip through the entire duration of the ads.

Skip Ahead with Your Voice

If you have Sky Glass or Sky Stream, there's an even more convenient way to skip through recordings. Simply use the microphone feature and say, "skip 2 minutes." Your Sky Q system will automatically jump ahead to the desired time, saving you the trouble of manually fast forwarding.
