New name, more films

The new service, called Sony Pictures Core, is the rebranded version of Bravia Core. Bravia Core is already a hit among users, letting them rent or purchase films on Sony's Bravia TVs and Xperia smartphones and tablets. Starting next year, Bravia Core will be known as Sony Pictures Core on these devices. But that's not all, Sony is also bringing the service to PlayStation consoles TODAY!

More than 2,000 films at your fingertips

PS4 and PS5 owners will have access to an extensive library of over 2,000 films directly from their consoles. And the lineup is impressive! The latest Spider-Man film, the highly-anticipated Uncharted film, The Equalizer, No Hard Feelings, Bullet Train, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife are just a few of the blockbusters that Sony has announced.

Gran Turismo fans, listen up!

If you're a Gran Turismo fan, you're in luck. In the US, gamers will be able to purchase the Gran Turismo movie starting today. And if you buy the movie, you'll even get some awesome in-game perks for the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 video game!

Lights, camera, free films!

For those who have a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription, get ready to enjoy a whole new way to watch films for free. Subscribers of the highest tier of PS Plus will have access to a catalogue of up to 100 films at no additional cost. And the best part? Sony promises to update the catalogue with new films regularly, meaning you'll always have new options to watch. So sit back, relax, and enjoy your favorite films without any pesky ads.
