I’m a Wi-Fi expert and there are three overlooked tricks that instantly boost your internet speed

When your Wi-Fi connection is slow, it's easy to blame your router or service provider. However, the problem may actually be closer to home. There are several common objects that can secretly impact your broadband, including microwaves and fish tanks. But if it's none of those, the issue may be on your computer itself, specifically your browser. Avast suggests that too much cache data can result in websites not loading or loading slowly. To solve this, clear your browser's cache. Here's how to do it on Google Chrome.

How to clear Google Chrome cache

To clear your cache on Google Chrome, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome and click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
  2. Go to More tools, then select Clear browsing data.
  3. Make sure all three options are selected.
  4. Click the Clear data button.

Now try browsing as you normally would and see if it improves the speed.
