Fitbit Users Outraged Over New App Design, Demand Reversal

Users Threaten to Ditch Fitbit for the Apple Watch

Fitbit owners are expressing their frustration with the brand's latest app update and are urging Google, the owner of Fitbit, to switch back to the previous version. The backlash comes as many users threaten to abandon their Fitbit devices altogether and opt for an Apple Watch instead.

Flood of Complaints Directed at Google

Since the rollout of the free app upgrade, Google has been bombarded with angry comments on social media. Users are demanding that the tech giant revert to the previous version as the new app has failed to win them over.

New Design Receives Negative Reviews

The completely refreshed look of the Fitbit app has been met with strong criticism. Users argue that the dashboard has become cluttered and express dislike for the new colour scheme, which they describe as "bile brown, vomit green, and light blue". Furthermore, the absence of a dark mode has also contributed to the negative reviews.

Dissatisfied Users Demand Change

Users have taken to social media to voice their displeasure with the new app. One user stated, "The new app is awful! Everyone hates it!" Another user expressed their disappointment, saying, "After 9 years, I guess it's time to finally get an Apple Watch." The lack of personalization options and unappealing color palette were among the top complaints.

Fitbit Response Falls Short

Fitbit has been addressing the flood of comments by informing users that reverting back to the old version is not possible. The company, alongside Google, emphasizes its commitment to continuous improvement, but users remain unsatisfied.
