Zlatan Ibrahimovic "ate me alive" in training, says Italian youth prospect

Zlatan Ibrahimovic ate me alive in training, says Italian youth prospect

Italian youngster Marco Nasti reveals his experience training with Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has always been known for his big personality and ego, but he also had the skills to back it up. Italian youth prospect Marco Nasti recently shared his experience training with the football icon when he was just a teenager. Nasti, currently on loan at Serie B side Bari, trained with Ibrahimovic during his time at AC Milan. He recalled getting "eaten alive" by the Swedish legend after refusing to pass him the ball during training.

"He did it to encourage you": Nasti on Ibrahimovic's winning mentality

Nasti acknowledged Ibrahimovic's fiery nature but also praised his winning mentality. Despite being tough on his teammates, Ibrahimovic's intention was to push them to perform at their best. Nasti explained that the younger players who moved up to the first team from the Primavera were not arrogant around Ibrahimovic, recognizing his influence and experience.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's illustrious career and achievements

Zlatan Ibrahimovic retired earlier this year at the age of 41, leaving behind a remarkable career. He won 12 league titles across four different leagues and was the top goalscorer in five of those seasons. His success is a dream for many young talents, including those coming through the ranks at Milan.

Marco Nasti's aspirations and current performance

While Nasti hopes to achieve even a fraction of Ibrahimovic's success, he has made a promising start since joining Bari. The 20-year-old has already scored three goals this season and has become a regular player for his loan club. However, Milan already has other talented young forwards, as 15-year-old Francesco Camadra recently made his debut for the European giants.
