Kick-off time change
Manchester United's clash with Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday night was originally scheduled for a 3pm kick-off on December 2nd. However, the match was rescheduled for an 8pm kick-off due to TV broadcast selection. TNT Sports, who have the rights to the game, typically have the 12.30pm slot on Saturdays but changed the kick-off time to accommodate both teams' European commitments earlier in the week.
European commitments
Newcastle and Man Utd both played in the Champions League on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. This meant that they would not have had enough recovery time if the match had taken place at 12.30pm on Saturday, as per the original schedule.
How to watch
UK viewers can watch the Newcastle vs Manchester United match live on TNT Sports 1. The coverage is set to begin at 7pm GMT, one hour before kick-off. Fans also have the option to stream the game on discovery+. Additionally, SunSport will provide minute-by-minute coverage of the encounter through their live blog.
