Stuart Broad's Glittering Career and Retirement
Stuart Broad, born June 24, 1986, is a former England cricketer. He started his first-class county career at Leicestershire before returning to Nottinghamshire in 2008. Throughout his 17-year career, Broad achieved numerous highlights, including his incredible spell of bowling in the 2015 Ashes and scoring 169 with the bat against Pakistan in 2010. Other notable moments include taking his 600th Test wicket against Australia and bagging 6-17 against South Africa. After his successful career, Broad announced his retirement from cricket in July 2023, stating his love for the sport and his desire to finish at the top.
Recognition and Honors
In addition to his career achievements, Broad was named the Young Cricketer Of The Year in 2006 and became one of England's greatest-ever bowlers. He was also appointed a Member Of The Order Of The British Empire in 2016 for his services to cricket. Furthermore, Broad received a CBE in the New Year's Honours list following his retirement from the sport.
Mollie King and Stuart Broad's Relationship
Stuart Broad and Mollie King, dubbed the Posh and Becks of cricket, have had an on-and-off relationship since 2012. Due to their busy schedules, with Stuart traveling for his sport and Mollie being part of the girl band The Saturdays, their romance took a back seat. However, the couple first got together after Stuart revealed his interest in Mollie at a sponsored event. They started dating in London in 2012 and spent New Year's Eve together but later split. They rekindled their relationship in 2018 and on January 1, 2021, Stuart proposed to Mollie, and she said yes. The couple welcomed their daughter, Annabella Broad, in November 2022.
Past Relationships
Prior to his relationship with Mollie King, Stuart Broad had dated lingerie model Bealey Mitchell for three years. They ended their relationship on good terms. He also had a ten-month relationship with Laura Coleman, a former Miss England winner, which ended in February 2008 due to his cricketing commitments.
