Victor Osimhen reveals he owns Premier League shirts as clubs line up for in-demand striker

Multiple Premier League teams interested in Osimhen

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who finished as top scorer in Serie A last season, has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal. The Nigerian revealed on The Obi One podcast that he owns two Premier League shirts, one from Manchester United and one from Chelsea. Osimhen emphasized the popularity of the Premier League among African players, calling it a "huge league."

Arsenal and Manchester United among potential suitors

Arsenal, in search of a striker due to Eddie Nketiah's struggles, have been linked to Osimhen. Ivan Toney from Brentford is also believed to be of interest, but could come with a hefty price tag of £80-£100 million. Meanwhile, Liverpool sent scouts to watch Osimhen during his international duty last month, indicating their interest. Manchester United, looking for an experienced forward to support Rasmus Hojlund, are also said to be interested in the Napoli star.

Uncertain future for Osimhen

It is yet to be seen whether Napoli will allow Osimhen to leave in January. If a transfer does happen, it could command a fee upwards of £100 million. The future of the in-demand striker remains uncertain as Premier League clubs vie for his signature.
