Tyson and Paris Fury react to surprise Day of Reckoning fight card after heavyweight division plans are changed

Tyson and Paris Fury have showered their friend Joseph Parker with praise after his shocking victory over Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia.

In their 'Day of Reckoning' clash on Saturday night, the former WBO heavyweight champion managed to secure a surprising points win over The Bronze Bomber.

Paris Fury, who shared a clip of Michael Buffer reading out the scorecards on her Instagram story, hailed Parker for his incredible win. She wrote, "@JoeBoxerParker. Congratulations our good friend."

Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, celebrated Parker's victory by posting a graphic of his training partner being lifted in the air on his Instagram story.

Parker dominated Wilder from the beginning of the fight and secured a unanimous decision victory in the Riyadh rumble.

The Furys, who watched the bout from their Morecambe mansion, were among Parker's cheering fans.

Wilder, on the other hand, finds himself in a career limbo after losing his £100million two-fight series with Anthony Joshua. However, he insists that his fighting days are not over yet.

After the fight, Parker expressed his gratitude to his team and Tyson Fury for their support. He said, "This win is massive because I have my whole team here, apart from Tyson Fury, Tyson thank you for all the help."

Despite the setback, Wilder remains optimistic and promises to return to the ring. He stated, "Sorry if I let anyone down. This is not the end, we'll be back."
