Templegate's Tips for the £150,000 Cheltenham Placepot

Templegates Tips for the £150,000 Cheltenham Placepot

What is the Placepot?

The Placepot is a popular bet where you choose a horse to be placed in the first six races of a meeting. If at least one of your selections is placed in each race, you win a payout.

How to Calculate Your Stake

You can select multiple horses in each race, and the number of selections in each race determines your stake. For example, if you choose 2 horses in each of the 6 races, your stake would be 2x2x2x2x1x2, which equals 32 lines.

Staking Options

You can stake any amount you want, starting from 5p per line. For example, staking 5p per line would cost a total of £1.60, while staking 10p per line would be £3.20, and so on.

Leg 5: Broadway Boy

Broadway Boy looks like a promising prospect with only three runs over fences.

Leg 6: Cadell, Shanagh Bob

Cadell is expected to improve over this longer distance, while Shanagh Bob had an impressive debut win and is set to progress.
