Ronda Rousey's MMA Return Decision Amid UFC 300 Rumours

Ronda Rouseys MMA Return Decision Amid UFC 300 Rumours

Former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey Reportedly Makes Major Decision

Ronda Rousey, the former long-reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion, has reportedly made a major decision regarding a potential return to the octagon. She walked away from the sport in December 2016 after a first-round defeat at the hands of Amanda Nunes.

Plans to Grow Her Family

Rousey, who transitioned to wrestling in the WWE, has been linked with a return to the UFC in recent years. However, according to wrestling and MMA insider Dave Meltzer, she is not interested in fighting again as she plans to have a second child with her husband Travis Browne.

Speculation About UFC 300

Speculation about Rousey's return ramped up after UFC Chief Executive Dana White revealed that the promotion is working on a big-money "super fight." However, White has shut down the idea of Rousey fighting again, stating that she has accomplished everything she set out to do and is now focusing on starting a family.

Reflecting on Her Career

Rousey, an Olympic bronze medallist, has faced criticism for her handling of defeat to Nunes and for leaving the sport without a proper goodbye. She admitted that she felt pressure to continue in both judo and MMA, but ultimately realized that she didn't want it anymore and was doing it for others.
