What happened?
Mario Balotelli, the former Manchester City star, has reportedly been involved in a car crash in his hometown of Brescia, Italy. His £100,000 Audi Q8 was destroyed in the accident, which occurred at 8.30pm local time.
Refusal to Take Breathalyser Test
According to Italian media, Balotelli declined to take a breathalyser test after crashing his car into a wall. This led to police confiscating his driving licence.
Minor Injuries
Paramedics attended the scene of the accident and checked Balotelli for injuries. Fortunately, he escaped major harm and managed to climb out of the wreckage.
Brother Takes Balotelli Home
After the crash, Balotelli's brother, Enock Barwuah, arrived at the scene and took him home. Balotelli is currently recovering from an injury and plays for Turkish side Adana Demirspor.
