Manny Pacquiao Hits Back at Conor McGregors Comments in Bitter Feud

Manny Pacquiao has responded to Conor McGregor's recent comments about him, escalating their ongoing feud. McGregor, 35, and Pacquiao, 44, were originally scheduled to meet in the boxing ring in 2021, but the fight was canceled due to issues between Pacquiao and McGregor's management agency, Paradigm Sports. The agency claimed that Pacquiao owed them money, leading to a legal battle that Pacquiao ultimately lost. McGregor has since accused Pacquiao of not paying the agreed settlement, but there is no evidence to support this claim.

Pacquiao's Sharp Response

In a recent voicenote shared on Twitter, McGregor demanded the $8 million he claimed Pacquiao owed him from the court case. He also made threats of physical violence towards Pacquiao. In response, Pacquiao simply dismissed McGregor's relevance, stating, "Oh, he's not active anymore."

McGregor's Recent History

McGregor's career has been plagued by setbacks and injuries. He broke his leg in a defeat to Dustin Poirier in 2021 and has not fought since. McGregor's last boxing match was in 2017 when he made his professional debut against Floyd Mayweather. However, he has now re-enrolled in the US Anti-Doping Agency's testing pool, signaling his intention to make a comeback in the UFC. McGregor is expected to face Michael Chandler in early 2024, although the exact date has yet to be confirmed.
