United's Shopping List

Manchester United is setting its sights on two major Premier League targets as they prepare to part ways with Raphael Varane. Nice's Jean-Clair Todibo and Sporting Lisbon's Goncalo Inacio are rumored to be at the top of manager Erik ten Hag's wishlist for center-backs next summer.

Competition for Todibo

Arsenal and Chelsea are also highly interested in Todibo, while Liverpool scouts have been keeping a close eye on Inacio.

United's incoming investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly approved the sale of 30-year-old Varane as part of a wider squad shake-up. Bayern Munich is said to be monitoring the situation closely. However, Varane's hefty wages of £340,000 a week could pose a challenge in joining Harry Kane at the German champions.

INEOS Owner's Plans

Ratcliffe, who is set to acquire a 25% stake in United, is open to a potential clear-out once his investment is complete. He aims to take full control of the club in the coming years.

Todibo and Inacio's Prospects

Todibo, 23, is currently on loan at Nice from Barcelona and has long been linked with a move to Manchester United. Inacio, on the other hand, has earned five Portugal caps this year. However, Liverpool may force United's hand as Jurgen Klopp is reportedly considering a January offer for the 22-year-old.
