Portugal Defender Welcomes Baby Daughter with Fiancée

Manchester United's Diogo Dalot, 24, is celebrating the arrival of his baby daughter after his fiancée gave birth. The football star had withdrawn from this week's Euro qualifiers for personal reasons.

Dalot took to Instagram to share the news, posting a heartwarming picture of him and his fiancée clasping their newborn daughter's hand. He captioned the photo, "Welcome to the world Clara. 15.11.2023."

A Love Story

Dalot and his partner Claudia Pinto began dating in 2020 and got engaged in March. In July, they announced that they were expecting their first child.

Football Career on Hold

Dalot had an impressive start to the season at club level, making 16 appearances in all competitions. However, he made the decision to withdraw from Portugal's training camp to be with his growing family. Joao Mario was called up to replace him in the Euro qualifiers.
