Manchester United redeemed themselves after last season's Anfield defeat by securing a hard-fought draw against Liverpool today.
The Red Devils managed to hold Liverpool to a 0-0 draw, despite being outplayed on the pitch.
Jonny Evans stood out as Man Utd's best player in their 0-0 draw at Liverpool
For Man Utd fans, this result comes as a welcome relief after last season's humiliating 7-0 loss.
While Jonny Evans had an impressive performance for United, Rasmus Hojlund struggled to make an impact up front.

So, how did the rest of the players fare at Anfield? Let's take a look at SunSport's Kieran Davies' player ratings for Man Utd vs Liverpool...
Andre Onana – 6
Onana didn't face many challenges in goal, but his attempts to play the ball out from the back often led to mistakes and invited pressure from Liverpool.
Diogo Dalot – 6
Dalot had a decent game until he received a second yellow card for dissent. This didn't impact the game, but he will miss their next match.
Jonny Evans – 8
The experienced defender was the standout player for Manchester United.

He constantly commanded the defense and led by example.
Raphael Varane – 7
Varane won most of the aerial duels and made Liverpool's set pieces ineffective.
Luke Shaw – 7
Shaw received a late yellow card and gave the ball away a few times, but he did enough to keep Salah and Alexander-Arnold quiet throughout the match.
Kobbie Mainoo – 6
Mainoo didn't stand out, but he also didn't make any major mistakes.

He put in a solid effort but didn't contribute much to the game.
Sofyan Amrabat – 6
Amrabat tried to disrupt Liverpool's play but often resorted to fouling when the opposition attacked with pace.
Antony – 6
This was one of Antony's better performances for Man Utd, as he provided an outlet when the team was under pressure.
However, he still lacks the final ball to create scoring opportunities on a consistent basis.
Rasmus Hojlund had a forgettable game against Liverpool
Scott McTominay – 6
Considering he was given the captain's armband, McTominay's performance was disappointing and unremarkable.
Alejandro Garnacho – 6
Garnacho tried to challenge Alexander-Arnold in the first half, but he often went to ground too easily and faded in the second half.
Rasmus Hojlund – 4
Hojlund offered very little as the main striker, and his best chance of the game ended up in Alisson's chest with the goalkeeper knowing little about it.
Lacking in confidence, Hojlund doesn't appear to be a natural goalscorer when presented with opportunities.
Subs
Marcus Rashford – N/A
Facundo Pellistri – N/A
