Man Utd outcast finally set to leave with Red Devils ‘in advanced talks’ over January transfer exit

GALATASARAY EYES DONNY VAN DE BEEK

Turkish club Galatasaray is reportedly interested in signing out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek. The 26-year-old has only made two appearances for the Red Devils this season, playing a total of 21 minutes.

UNITED BOSS CONFIRMS POTENTIAL EXIT

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Van de Beek will be allowed to leave Old Trafford in January, stating that he needs to play for his career. Galatasaray is considering a transfer for the Dutch midfielder, and contact has already been made between the player and the Turkish club officials.

PAST TRANSFER ATTEMPTS

Van de Beek joined Manchester United in 2020 from Ajax in a £39 million transfer. He almost completed a move to Real Sociedad earlier this year, but the deal fell through at the last minute due to clubs failing to reach an agreement. The midfielder expressed his desire to play games soon and is open to joining another club if he cannot find playing time at United.

Manchester United recently drew 3-3 with Galatasaray, dealing a blow to their Champions League hopes.
