Man Utd Legends Twin Sons Follow in His Footsteps at Red Devils

Playing for Different Nations

Darren Fletcher, the legendary Manchester United player, has twin sons who are determined to carve out their own careers in the Red Devils' midfield. However, the catch is that they currently represent different rival nations.

A Father's Legacy

Darren Fletcher, who made 342 senior appearances for Manchester United, winning five Premier League titles and the Champions League, has left big shoes to fill for his twin sons, Jack and Tyler Fletcher.

Playing Together and Against Each Other

The Fletcher twins have already experienced playing both with and against each other in international football, despite being born just minutes apart. They recently played on opposite teams as England faced Scotland in a U16 match, with Jack's England emerging as the winners.

Following in Their Father's Footsteps

Both Jack and Tyler Fletcher, who are turning 17 in March, play as central midfielders, just like their dad. They initially developed their skills in rivals Manchester City's academy before making the switch to Manchester United's academy.

Rival Nations

Jack and Tyler have the unique opportunity to represent either Scotland or England. Initially, they followed their father's lead and played for Scotland's U16 team. However, Jack later received a call-up to England's U16 team, leading to a face-off between the two nations.

Changing Allegiances

In a surprising turn of events, the Fletcher twins played together for England in the Montaigu Tournament in France. However, Tyler later decided to revert back to playing for Scotland in their U17 Euro 2024 qualifiers, while there are rumors that Jack may also switch his allegiance to Scotland in the future.

A Proud Father

Darren Fletcher, now serving as Manchester United's first technical director, can now closely monitor the progress of his sons as they follow in his footsteps at the club.
