Man Charged with Murder After Van Ploughs Into Crowd, Killing Sunday League Footballer

Tragic Incident

A man has been charged with murder after a van collided with a group of Sunday league footballers in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Sam Wilson, 26, was killed in the horrifying crash.

Suspect Identified

Zac Newman, 27, has been charged with murder, as well as section 18 wounding with intent and attempted section 18 GBH. He will appear in court later today.
