Yusuf Yazici's Home Burgled While Playing for Lille
In a shocking incident, Yusuf Yazici, the French title winner, had his home burgled for the second time while he was on European duty. The Turkish international was playing for Lille in their Conference League match against Klaksvik when raiders broke into his house. They managed to steal two expensive watches, clothes, and leather goods.
A Repeat Offense
This is the second burglary that Yazici has suffered since joining Lille in 2019. Despite this setback, the striker has been a key player for the team, helping them win the Ligue 1 title in 2021 and scoring seven goals in 21 games this season.
Premier League Potential
The latest burglary could potentially lead to Yazici considering a move away from Lille, possibly to the Premier League. Manchester United , Nottingham Forest, and Fulham have all shown interest in the talented midfielder in the past.
International Career and Current Form
Yazici has represented Turkey in 41 senior international matches, scoring three goals. This season, he has been in excellent form, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in 21 appearances for Lille.
