Freak Injury Halts Match
Leyton Orient's match against Wycombe in League One was temporarily suspended when a linesman suffered an unexpected injury. The assistant referee pulled up with a muscle injury just 20 minutes into the game.
Fourth Official's Delay
Orient confirmed the break in play on social media and announced that the fourth official would step in for the injured linesman. However, there was a delay as the replacement official seemed to have left his boots in the changing room, causing chaos on the field.
Match Resumes
After a few minutes, the fourth official finally took to the touchline, and the match was able to resume. At the time of the incident, both teams were still tied at 0-0, with only 18 minutes played.
