Jake Paul Predicted to Defeat Nate Diaz in MMA Fight by Former UFC Star

Ex-UFC Fighter Matt Brown Supports Jake Paul's Victory Over Nate Diaz in MMA Rematch

Jake Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer, has received a surprising vote of confidence from former UFC star Matt Brown. Brown believes that Paul has what it takes to defeat Nate Diaz in an MMA fight, following their recent boxing match. The Professional Fighters League (PFL), where Paul is now signed, has proposed a £10 million rematch in the cage, but Diaz has shown little interest.

Size Advantage and Wrestling Skills Could Determine the Outcome

Brown argues that Paul's size advantage and wrestling skills will be the key factors in securing his victory. He points out that Diaz rarely throws elbows or kicks, preferring to rely on his boxing skills. Additionally, Brown doubts Diaz's ability to take Paul down, which would allow him to use his jiu-jitsu techniques. In Brown's opinion, the match would likely stay on the feet, just like their boxing match.

A Bad Matchup for Diaz

According to Brown, the matchup favors Paul due to Diaz's fighting style. Diaz typically pressures his opponents and relies on his boxing skills, but that approach may not work against Paul. Brown believes that Paul's training in various MMA techniques, such as kicks, elbows, and knees, will give him an advantage. Brown doesn't see Diaz being able to finish Paul with a kick or wear him down with elbows, as it's simply not his style.

It remains to be seen whether a rematch between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz will take place, but if it does, it seems that Paul has gained an unexpected ally in Matt Brown.
