Winger Frozen Out of Squad Since September
Jadon Sancho, the talented winger who joined Manchester United in 2021 for a staggering £73 million, has found himself on the sidelines since September. The fallout began after a public dispute with Erik ten Hag, and despite refusing to apologize, Sancho was banished from the team.
Dortmund in Talks to Re-Sign Sancho
As a result of Sancho's situation, Manchester United is now looking to offload the player. According to Sky Sports in Germany, Borussia Dortmund is in advanced negotiations to re-sign the winger. The two clubs are discussing the possibility of a loan deal, with Dortmund paying a fee and United assisting in covering Sancho's hefty £350,000-per-week wages.
Sancho Eager for Return to Germany
Sancho is believed to be pushing for a return to Germany, where he previously made 137 appearances and scored 50 goals for Dortmund. In fact, there are reports that he could be back at Dortmund's training base as early as this week.
Drop from the United Squad
Since August, the 23-year-old has not been given any playing time for Manchester United. His absence began with being dropped from the team for their 3-1 defeat against Arsenal. Erik ten Hag, United's manager, cited poor performances in training as the reason for Sancho's exclusion.

Sancho Defends Himself
Sancho took to social media to defend himself against the decision and claimed that he was being used as a "scapegoat." However, his refusal to apologize to ten Hag has resulted in him being frozen out of the United setup.
Dortmund's Lifeline
Manchester United had been struggling to find a buyer for Sancho due to his high wages and the club's reluctance to send him to a Premier League rival. However, Dortmund's renewed interest in the player now offers both the club and Sancho himself a potential lifeline.
