Lyon Manager Attacked
Lyon manager Fabio Grosso, a former Italian soccer star, was left with a bloodied face after a stone shattered the club's bus window. The incident occurred as the team was leaving their hotel en route to the Stade Velodrome for their match against Marseille.
Details of the Incident
According to reports, Grosso was hit by shards of glass and required medical treatment. His injuries are currently unknown. Raffaelle Longo, one of Grosso's assistants, was also reportedly injured in the incident.
Arrival at the Stadium
When the bus arrived at Marseille's stadium, Grosso was seen in the Velodrome tunnel heading to the changing rooms. He had a bandage wrapped around his head, and in another photo, he was spotted on a stretcher with a gash above his eye and his hand covered in blood.
