Gary Neville left in stitches after fans unusual request at Manchester derby

Former Manchester United player Gary Neville couldn't contain his laughter when a fan asked for his tie during the Manchester derby on Sunday.

Neville, who was on punditry duty for Sky Sports, was caught off guard by a young fan's homemade sign that read, "Gary Neville can I have your tie please?" The 48-year-old shared a picture of the sign on social media, commenting, "No one has ever asked for my clothes 😂."

While some fans urged Neville to give the tie to the young supporter, others used the opportunity to poke fun at Manchester United's recent performance. Despite the defeat, United fans were left furious, and manager Erik ten Hag expressed his satisfaction with the team's first-half performance.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring for Manchester City from the penalty spot, with the Premier League Golden Boot winner later adding a second goal and providing an assist for Phil Foden.
