In his first foray into the boxing ring, Ngannou managed to drop Fury, but ultimately suffered a points loss in their highly anticipated bout in Saudi Arabia.

Despite the loss, Saudi boxing bosses are still planning a major event before Christmas and have their sights set on Ngannou as the headliner.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, proposed Ngannou as a potential opponent for the ex-UFC champion.

Ngannou's Focus on Fury Rematch

However, Ngannou is more interested in a rematch with Fury and is willing to wait until Fury's title unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk in February.

Ngannou's Statement

Ngannou stated, "First of all, it's too soon. Secondly, my focus, as boxing is concerned, is a rematch with Tyson. That's the most important thing for me right now, everything else for boxing comes after."

Postponement of Fury vs. Usyk Fight

The promoters of both Fury and Usyk have confirmed that the highly anticipated four-belt heavyweight unification fight has been postponed until February.
