Corinthian FC Player Collapses During Match
Football star Cameron Beckles is in critical condition after collapsing during a match against Larkfield & New Hythe on Saturday. The match was abandoned at 1-1 midway through the second half.
Emergency Treatment and Surgery
Beckles was quickly treated by physios from both teams before being taken to Maidstone Hospital. He was later transferred to a hospital in London and underwent surgery on Saturday evening. He required further surgery on Sunday.
Club Statement
Corinthian FC released a statement confirming Beckles' condition as stable but critical. The club expressed their gratitude to the physios and offered support to Beckles and his family.
Matches Postponed
The Kent Senior Trophy match between Corinthian and Larkfield & New Hythe will be replayed at a later date. Additionally, Corinthian's league game with Stansfield this weekend has been postponed.
