Fans Left Stunned by Rare Darts Feat During Luke Littler vs Brendan Dolan Match

Fans of the PDC World Darts Championship were left in awe during the face-off between Luke Littler and Brendan Dolan, as the latter pulled off an incredibly rare shot known as a "Robin Hood".

What is a "Robin Hood"?

A "Robin Hood" occurs when a player throws a dart that lands in the back of a dart they have already hit on the board. The shot gets its nickname from the legendary tale of Robin Hood splitting his arrow to hit the bullseye in an archery contest against the Sheriff of Nottingham. However, in darts, landing a "Robin Hood" doesn't earn any points and the player loses their shot.

Fans React to the Rare Occurrence

The crowd at the Ally Pally couldn't contain their excitement as Brendan Dolan executed the impressive "Robin Hood" shot. Fans watching at home also took to social media to express their astonishment. One fan wrote, "Haven't seen one of those in a while!" while another exclaimed, "Haven't seen a Robin Hood in ages!"

Luke Littler's Surprising Performance

While the rare shot stole the spotlight for a moment, fans were also captivated by the remarkable progress of 16-year-old Luke Littler. The young player has taken the darts world by storm at the World Championships and could secure a spot in the semi-finals with a victory over Dolan.
