Replays in the third round?

If the scores are level after 90 minutes plus additional time, replays will be held for the FA Cup third round matches.

However, if the reverse fixture is still level after 90 minutes plus added time, an extra 30 minutes will be played. If there is still no breakthrough, a penalty shootout will decide the winner.

The fixtures for the third round will be played on the weekend of January 6 and January 7.
