During a Manchester City free-kick, Cole Palmer attempted to walk into the meeting of Haaland, Bernardo Silva, Kyle Walker, and Jack Grealish. However, Haaland was not impressed and quickly shoved Palmer away, keeping their plan to themselves.

Despite the late leveller, manager Mauricio Pochettino was left fuming as the full-time whistle went before a Chelsea attack could finish. When speaking to the press after the incident, he did apologize for his actions.
