Drunken Chaos at Melbourne Cup as 85,000 Partygoers Get Wild

Racegoers Celebrate in Style

It was a day of drunken chaos at the Melbourne Cup as 85,000 punters let loose and got legless. The racegoers descended upon Flemington racecourse in Australia to witness an exciting day of horse racing and festivities. The highlight of the day was Without A Fight's impressive victory, giving jockey Mark Zahra back-to-back wins in the prestigious event.

Party Turns Wild

After a day of drinking heavily and placing bets, the party really kicked off once the last race was over. Revellers began to show the effects of their big day, with some struggling to stay upright in their seats. One woman, in particular, caught everyone's attention as she fell backwards off her chair, but managed to hold on tightly to her drink as she crashed to the ground. Her friends couldn't contain their laughter as they watched her tumble over with only one shoe on.

Close Calls and Lively Dancing

Another partygoer had a close call as he fell backwards off his chair, narrowly avoiding a pile of cans that had accumulated on the floor. Despite the drunken antics, others kicked off their heels and danced to the tunes of a live band while police patrolled the enclosures to maintain some semblance of order.

Leaving a Mess Behind

As the celebrations continued, racegoers left behind a trail of drinks and litter scattered throughout the racecourse. This comes after a similar scene at Derby Day last weekend, indicating that the festivities are far from over.
