Chelsea Star Forced to Withdraw from International Squad with Injury

Chelsea fans left frustrated as injury troubles continue

Chelsea fans are starting to wonder if they will ever catch a break as yet another player is forced to withdraw from international duty due to injury. Mauricio Pochettino has had to handle a number of player absences this season, causing frustration among the club's supporters.

Recent improvements for Chelsea

Although the injury situation has been difficult, there have been some positive developments for Chelsea. Captain Reece James has returned to action recently, and there is hope that summer signings Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku will make their debuts after the international break.

Malo Gusto's injury blow

In a fresh setback, Malo Gusto has been forced to withdraw from the France Under-21s squad due to an injury. The 20-year-old full-back is reportedly suffering from a ligament issue in his right knee, according to French outlet L'Equipe. Gusto came on as a substitute for James in Chelsea's recent 4-4 draw with Manchester City, but the injury was detected afterward.

Frustration among Chelsea fans

Chelsea fans took to social media to express their frustration with the continuous injury problems. One fan asked, "Will we ever catch a break?" Another expressed hope that Gusto would be fit and ready after the international break, as the team needs him and James to be in top form. Supporters wished Gusto a quick recovery while also expressing their disappointment with the recurring injury issues.

The Blues will face Newcastle on November 25, and they will hope to have Gusto back in action soon. Chelsea signed Gusto from Lyon in January for £31 million and loaned him back to the French side for the remainder of the season. He has made nine Premier League appearances for Chelsea this season, often filling in for James.
