Cheltenham Heartbreak

Jockey Bryony Frost, known for her incredible front-running ride on Il Ridoto at the December Gold Cup, was rushed to the hospital just 48 hours after her disappointing performance at Cheltenham.

Injury While Schooling

Frost suffered a fall while schooling a horse, leading to her hospitalization for a check-up. Her agent, Iain Turner, remains optimistic about her recovery.

Race Against Time

Frost is now facing a race against time to be fit for the upcoming Christmas races at Ascot and Kempton. These include the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday and the King George on Boxing Day, where she is booked to ride Red Risk and 2020 champion Frodon, respectively.

Previous Injury

In 2022, Frost suffered a serious back injury at the Aintree Grand National Festival, which kept her out of racing for six months. She made a strong comeback at Cheltenham last weekend, narrowly missing out on a victory in the December Gold Cup.
