Barcelona Rejects Swap Deal Involving Jadon Sancho and Raphinha

Barcelona has reportedly ruled out a swap deal between Jadon Sancho and Raphinha, dismissing Manchester United's proposal. Sancho has been sidelined by United since his public fallout with Erik ten Hag in September. The La Liga giants have no interest in Sancho, according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo. Meanwhile, Raphinha is considered "untouchable" in the January transfer window.

Sancho's Exile Continues

Jadon Sancho remains frozen out of the Manchester United squad after refusing to reconcile with Ten Hag. The winger's exile has left United searching for a solution, especially considering his hefty price tag of £73 million and weekly earnings of around £300,000. While Barcelona rejected the swap proposal, there is speculation that Sancho's former club, Borussia Dortmund, could consider a swap involving him and Donyell Malen.

Record Attendance Expected for United's Match Against Liverpool

Manchester United will face their bitter rivals, league leaders Liverpool, on Sunday. The match will witness a record attendance following the opening of the new Anfield Road Stand. United, currently sixth in the table, have not won away at Liverpool since January 2016 when Wayne Rooney scored the only goal.
