Frenchman Reveals Love for the Simulation Game
Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has revealed that he is spending his free time rebuilding former Premier League champions on Football Manager. The 32-year-old forward has previously shared glimpses of his old saves with Arsenal and Newcastle, and is now working on taking Championship side Blackburn Rovers back to their former glory. Blackburn Rovers won the Premier League in 1995 under the leadership of Kenny Dalglish, and Griezmann is determined to add to the club's trophy cabinet.
On His Way to Success
Griezmann, who is currently playing in the First Division with Blackburn Rovers, revealed that he is in sixth place and that the board is pleased with his progress. He even mentioned that they want to renew his contract, showing that he is on the right track to guide the team to success.
Key Signing
One of Griezmann's key signings for Blackburn Rovers is a Liverpool defender, although he couldn't recall the player's name. ESPN provided a picture of Calvin Ramsey as the player who joined Griezmann's team. Ramsey, a 20-year-old Scottish right back, is currently on loan at Preston North End but has had limited game time due to a knee injury. Despite this, Griezmann believes that Ramsey will make a significant impact on the team.
