Arsenal is reportedly in discussions to sign Genoa defender Radu Dragusin, as confirmed by the player's agent. However, they face competition from two other top Premier League clubs who are also interested in the center-back.
Potential Move to the Premier League
The 21-year-old Romanian has been a standout performer for Genoa in Serie A this season, playing every minute of their campaign so far. Despite his impressive displays, the team is currently struggling in 15th place in the Italian top flight.
Dragusin's agent, Florin Manea, has hinted at a potential move to the Premier League, putting Arsenal on notice that both Tottenham and Newcastle are also in the hunt for the talented defender.
"I have been in London for some time and have almost weekly meetings with important teams," said Manea. "We are getting closer. I spoke with Newcastle, with Arsenal, with Tottenham. I also have messages with them, conversations. There are teams that ask [about Dragusin]."

Competition for Arsenal
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has formed a strong center-back partnership between Gabriel and William Saliba. However, with new signing Jurrien Timber expected to be sidelined with a knee injury until the end of the season, the Gunners may need additional options in defense.
Tottenham, on the other hand, are currently facing a central defensive crisis, as manager Ange Postecoglou was forced to field full-backs Ben Davies and Emerson Royal in their recent 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
Newcastle, led by Eddie Howe, is also dealing with defensive problems due to injuries to Dan Burn, Sven Botman, and Emil Krafth.
It remains to be seen which Premier League club will secure the services of Dragusin, but it is clear that the talented defender is in high demand.
