Arsenal Eyeing Valencia Wonderkid Centre-Back Who Scored Hat-Trick for Spain U19s

Arsenal's Transfer Plans

Arsenal is reportedly planning a transfer swoop for a highly talented defender who recently scored a hat-trick for Spain's Under-19 side. The team, managed by Mikel Arteta, has high hopes for the upcoming Premier League season and their Champions League campaign.

Valencia Youngster on Arsenal's Radar

Arsenal has been linked with several potential targets ahead of the January transfer window, including Brentford striker Ivan Toney. However, a recent report from Diario AS suggests that the Gunners are also interested in Valencia's young starlet, Yarek Gasiorowski.

A Previous Failed Attempt

Arsenal has previously tried to sign the 18-year-old centre-back but was unsuccessful due to Brexit regulations. Premier League clubs are currently unable to sign players under the age of 18. However, the Gunners have maintained contact with Gasiorowski and are now preparing to make another move for him.

Emerging Talent

Gasiorowski is considered one of the best young centre-backs in Europe. He came up through Valencia's youth ranks and joined the first-team squad last summer. While representing Spain's U19 team, he made headlines by scoring a hat-trick in their opening Euro qualification match against Moldova, which ended in a 5-0 victory.

Contract and Release Clause

Gasiorowski is currently under contract with Valencia until 2025, with the option to extend it until 2027. His contract also includes a release clause of £17.5 million, which will increase based on certain appearance milestones.

It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be successful in their pursuit of Gasiorowski, but the young talent's impressive performance has certainly caught their attention.
