Anthony Joshua has added another twist to his bitter rivalry with Tyson Fury by working with Fury's former coach.
AJ's Training Situation
Currently, Joshua is trained by American coach Derrick James in Texas, a partnership that has lasted for his last two fights.
However, when Joshua is back in England, he has enlisted the help of Ben Davison, who gained recognition for his work with Fury.
Ben Davison's Role
Promoter Eddie Hearn explained that Davison is a small part of Joshua's team and that they have a good working relationship.

While in the UK, Joshua will train with Davison, who has been working with him tactically behind the scenes.
Hearn expressed that Joshua feels comfortable working with Davison and believes that he has the kind of coaching style that fits with Joshua's mindset.
However, Hearn clarified that James is still Joshua's main coach, and there have been no changes in that regard.
Davison's Success with Fury
Davison played a crucial role in helping Fury make a successful comeback to the ring in 2018 after a three-year absence due to depression and substance abuse.

Under Davison's guidance, Fury went from weighing 30 STONE to challenging for the world title in a draw against Deontay Wilder in 2018.
Fury had an unbeaten record of five fights with Davison before switching to Sugarhill Steward, with whom he has won all five of his subsequent fights.
Davison's Current Ventures
Currently, Davison, 27, is working with two-time featherweight champion Leigh Wood and several other promising prospects.
Joshua's Return and Training Regimen
Meanwhile, Joshua, 34, has returned to training with James in Dallas as he prepares for his next fight, which is tentatively scheduled for December or January.
