Anthony Joshua Reveals Who He Wants to Win Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk Superfight

As the highly anticipated superfight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk approaches, Anthony Joshua has revealed which fighter he is rooting for. The two heavyweights will be putting all four WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO belts on the line on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua Supports Usyk

Despite the potential future bout between Joshua and Fury, the British boxer has made it clear that he is firmly supporting the Ukrainian fighter. In an interview with TNT Sports, Joshua stated, "There’s a respect, but Fury’s said a lot of bad things about me. I’m never going to ride with someone that disrespects me. That would make me a lunatic and I’m pretty level-headed, so I’m going to go with the person who shows me respect."

Keen to Face Fury

When asked if he would still be interested in facing Fury should Usyk win the superfight, Joshua affirmed his eagerness for the matchup. However, he acknowledged that time is running out for the much-anticipated all British clash. Joshua said, "For the entertainment factor, yeah. It’s getting drawn out a bit though. They’ll have two fights. The first one and then the rematch. Maybe that’ll be Fury’s only two fights next year. Hopefully he can sneak one in at the end of the year with me, but that draws it out for another twelve months before I see Fury. But we got Deontay Wilder anyway, or we got Joseph Parker. We got other big fights."

With Joshua currently preparing for his fight against Otto Wallin on December 23, fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome and the potential future matchups that will shape the heavyweight division.
