Brian Brobbey restored Ajax's lead before PSV's Luuk de Jong leveled the score again. Ismael Saibari then gave PSV the lead, and Lozano completed his hat-trick to seal a 5-2 victory for PSV.

Embarrassing Records for Ajax

This defeat has led to several humiliating records for Ajax. They are currently at the bottom of the league for the first time in their history, just four years after reaching the Champions League semi-finals. Additionally, they have experienced five consecutive Eredivisie losses for the first time. Furthermore, Ajax has already conceded 21 goals in just eight league games this season, surpassing the 19 goals they conceded in Erik ten Hag's last campaign in charge.
