Who is Ade Adepitan?

Ade Adepitan is a well-known TV personality and former wheelchair basketball player. Born in Nigeria in 1973, Adepitan contracted polio at just six months old, which eventually left him unable to use his legs. He moved to East London at the age of three and has since become a regular staple on our screens.

He has since appeared on various television programs and series as an actor, presenter, or guest. Some notable shows include Beyond Boundaries, Dancing On Wheels, and Africa With Ade Adepitan.

Upcoming Projects

In 2023, Channel 4 has commissioned Adepitan for a new film called "Ade: My Week in the Whitest Place on Earth." In this documentary, Adepitan travels to Orania, a whites-only town in South Africa. The film promises to shed light on the unique dynamics of this controversial community.
