Tory MP David Davis Saves Homeless Man from Violent Attack Yards from Parliament

Former SAS Hardman Comes to the Rescue

Tory MP David Davis, a former SAS hardman, saved a homeless man from a violent attack just yards away from Parliament. After driving the attackers away, Davis went above and beyond by offering the victim a bed for the night.

A True Act of Heroism

The victim, identified as Gareth, was set upon by two drug-addled thugs in Westminster. Davis, 74, witnessed the attack while leaving a Chinese restaurant on Tuesday evening. He stepped in to drive the attackers away, even as they threatened him.

Intervening to Save Lives

When asked about his heroic actions, Davis explained that he has always intervened in situations like this ever since witnessing a fatal attack 35 years ago. He stated that his only concern was getting Gareth out of harm's way and that the incident was resolved in less than two minutes.

The Importance of Intimidation

Reflecting on the incident, Davis remarked that the key is to intimidate rather than be intimidated. While he did not need to use his SAS training on this occasion, he emphasized the importance of defending oneself when necessary.

Going the Extra Mile for Gareth

After the attack, Davis provided Gareth with a sofa to sleep on for the night and accompanied him to the hospital the next morning. Although Gareth sustained injuries, Davis reassured that they were not permanent and he is still alive, which is what truly matters.

Praise for Davis's Actions

Guto Harri, Boris Johnson's former spin-doctor, praised Davis for his heroic intervention, stating that his actions almost certainly saved Gareth's life. Harri described Davis as a "pure Action Man."

David Davis's bravery and quick thinking in coming to the aid of a homeless man under attack near Parliament is a testament to his character. His actions serve as a reminder that even in the heart of politics, compassion and heroism can prevail.
